Body Language Tutorial. Part 1 of 7 - The History of Deception.

Comments

"Deception" reminds me of the 2007 film "Illusionist".
Great article on body language and communication.

So many excellent and important concepts in one article... and it's only part one!

I look forward to the rest.

I better example would be when your wife or girlfriend asks, "Does this make me look fat?" It is usually better to lie in this situation.

Good post and breakdown of the concept.

Deceit as a means of survival...hmmm. One of those uncomfortable facts of life, I guess. I find it kind of sad. I'd much prefer to hear that cunning bests physical superiority, rather than deceit. Although some may consider deceit a subcategory of cunning.

great article, though I'm not sure we need to go back 220k years to find people who don't think about the future. I know some right in my own neighborhood!!! Really this is very valuable information

If you haven't seen it, there's a fascinating book about Women and Mating Habits like you talk about here called "Sperm Wars" One of the points he covers, and measures, is the built in infidelity moves of woman...and how up to 1/3 of children probably weren't fathered by who they think they were.

It's just like Jerry Springer...just hidden better.

Once again, helpful info in a easy to follow and assimilate format.

Very interesting! In today's world, hasn't the ability of a man to make large sums of money (and thereby provide shelter, safety, and everything else money can buy) trumped physical superiority? This would explain how some men who most women would consider physically unappealing are able to date plenty of the most attractive women around. Think about some rock stars for example.

As a hot sexy gorgeous woman, indeed, I crave size AND agility.
as for the myth of evolution, well, I'm believe what the Bible tells us.

interesting. I'm always amused by the evolutionists description about men being the rulers.

All the best,
